  • Re: Add Bluetooth Module to Samsung UN32N5300

Thanks for the input Mr Barton and Nomo. I've considered something like the 3.5mm/optical port Bluetooth adapters, they would be useful if attaching wireless speakers, which I may do at some point. It appears an adapter like that will not work for input devices like keyboards.

The Keysonic is a slick looking keyboard. Forgot to mention I currently use a Logitech K700 and/or K830 keyboard with the USB dongle. They work pretty good, but would like to add the Bluetooth module for enhanced versatility. I's one of those things...

  • Add Bluetooth Module to Samsung UN32N5300

Was wondering if anyone knew if it is possible to add a Bluetooth module to a smart TV?

Have a Samsung UN32N5300 TV that I just realized did not come with Bluetooth capability. I would like to pair the TV with a wireless keyboard, so the usual Bluetooth adapter that plugs into an audio port won't be adequate.

Would something like this BN96-30218A module work?

If adding one of these modules would work, What would a compatible module # be, and are there any additional cables required to purchase? Where would it attach to the board? Bluetooth is enabled...

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

    Hello all,

Joining the forum on a recommendation when looking for technical advice. Limited experienced in TV/computer/electronics repair, so don't know if I would be much help to others. Often try to fix whatever is busted. Manage to get some things working with enough time and study, and manage to break some worse in the process more than I like to admit. Very helpful to have the resources of others available, and learn along the way.
