Hello. Newbie here. I've tried recapping a few things like an old Dell monitor and speak and spell but never seems to work. Hope I can learn what I've been doing wrong. Lots of old stuff to fix.

hello. I have been playing with old computers for awhile and of course replacing bad caps along the way. I've tried everything from dishwasher rinse to buying cap kits. my soldering skills are fair but I often wonder if the kits are just the cheapest parts and I still need to replace several more so hopefully can find some better info here.
