MSI gp62MVR no power at all
I received a MSI gp62MVR Leopard Pro that doesnt show any sign of life.
After disassembly i found a mosfet that looks to be faulty (SM4309). Looking further at the board i noticed a burned chip that i cant identify.
I found a schematic to a board with similar layout but i cant seem to find the burned part that i need.
Found schematic: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=181994&d=1535648897

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi everyone,
Very glad i found this forum. I repair faulty tv's, monitors, old consoles and audio equipment as a hobby for some time now. Recently i upgraded my equipment for smd work and just tipping my toe in motherboard repairs. I already go a lot of info from badcaps and hope to help others in the near future!
