Re: Panasonic TH-65AX800A PSU Issues?
This is an interesting option.
Does anyone know which LED's I would get to replace these? I mean the part number etcc.
Im trying to get a replacement before I take the screen out, otherwise I will have to take the screen out twice and that just expands the chances I will crack the screen, so I would rather just do it once...

Panasonic TH-65AX800A PSU Issues?
Hi all
I have a Panasonic TH-65AX800A that turns on for about 2 seconds and then turns itself off.
I got it like this hoping it was just a bad cap and an easy fix.
I have pulled the power board and cannot see any obvious capacitor damage.
Is there any other likely causes? Anything else I should check for?
The power board is
TNPA5937 2P
with an additional silver sticker saying
A1318VAL
TNPA5937DA
V1434
I have tracked down another power supply which has the markings
TNPA5937 2P...Last edited by RooTV; 04-19-2021, 03:10 AM.

Compatibility issue?
Hi there
I have a LG 55LB5820 - TB and need to replace the power supply.
The power supply I have is EAX65423801 rev 2.0
I have found a EAX65423801 (2.1) from an LG 50LB5610 and the markings on it are:
PCB: EAX65423801 (2.1)
REV2.0
2013. 12.10
Would this be compatible? Not sure as it is a different size tv
It is the same part number but different revision?
Is that just a software difference or can it be a part difference?Last edited by RooTV; 09-28-2020, 04:22 PM.

Re: JVC LT-65N550A LED Issue
I think Ive seen that in a youtube video.
So you think it will just be one bad light in the strip?
Ive had others where it was just one or two that didnt work but didnt prevent the whole strip from working

Re: JVC LT-65N550A LED Issue
I was expecting it to register but be a lower voltage than the good one.
I didnt remember what it registered coz I was looking for a difference.

so because one connector didnt register, that shows you that it is bad?

Re: JVC LT-65N550A LED Issue
I do.
Before I stripped the tv down I did try putting the led tester probes on the connectors for the led's, with mixed results.
I mean that one of the connectors registered (I cant remember what) but the other one did not register at all, when I say that I mean it didnt change the led tester from what it registers normally.
I tried a few times but it didnt change.
Once I stripped the tv down and tested the strips themselves, and found one bad strip, I figured that was the issue and went ahead and pulled...

Re: JVC LT-65N550A LED Issue
sorry I didnt have time to play around with it more, but I dont have a workshop or even an area I can work on these things.
As the photo shows, I live in a small place and have to wait till the other 3 people arent here before I can do anything on a fold up table in the small loungeroom.
I do what i can...

Re: JVC LT-65N550A LED Issue
with the tv unplugged and the strips available, I found the + and - dots at the end of each strip and put the probes from the led tester on them. each strip, well half strip, lit up when it was good.
The tv is in pieces now so couldnt really photo it
