Re: No inputs work except component

Apparently my tv has a bad scan converter board. Any idea on how I could replace it myself?

Basically none of the inputs of my Toshiba 57H81 tv work except for the component inputs. Anything else hooked up, including coax cable, results in a distorted video with little to zero audio. Is there something I can do to fix this? Personally I just want the coax cable to work so I can watch tv, so if this is possible I'd be fine with that. Thanks so much for your time.

*The TV was gifted to me by family for college, this has been a known problem however it's been kept amazing shape so abuse is unlikely.
