Hmmm, I mean it seemed strange to me, all of the same caps on the board mesured the same on both sides (don't remember exactly how much, I remember it was very low tho), so this one stood out of the crowd. I guess it might be ok after all, but I don't really have any other thing I can look into anymore then. The device was lightly liquid damaged btw, still, no corrosion on the board at all....

When the mobo is plugged in to power with the charger or battery, there's no signs of life, except that both fans spin at 100%. Looks like there's a short on the CD32 cap. When removed, one pad is measuring 350 ohms, and the other 0.5 ohms. Problem is, I cannot figure out where those pads lead to.Leave a comment:

My ASUS UX31A won't start anymore after a fan cleaning session. At first, after reassembly, there were the power LED, F2 LED, and Caps Lock LED all lighted up but with a black screen. Now, it became worse, black screen, no LEDs, and a strange buzzing sound coming from the motherboard when AC adapter is plugged in. AC adapter LED is green and sometimes, is orange but if I unplug it and plug it back, it becomes green again.. I tried all troubleshooting I could find on internet.
Here's what I did yet :
