This one doesn't seem to work on this system. Power light on after few seconds the fan at full speed and then power off.

Hi,
Anyone got a Dell E6440 VAL90 LA-9931P Rev1.0 BIOS+EC ?
I borrowed the SPI to fix another board and I forgot to take a copy.
Preferable if someone with the ME already cleaned on it. I'm still learning how to do that and keep making a mess of it

Hi,
I needed a bios image so I took one off a working laptop. Following the tutorials of the internet I've been trying to clean the ME. Using the intel flash image tool, every time I apply the new ME the program just exits.
I've put my dump here if anyone can do, or if anyone has a clean one would be awesome.

Hi,
Have a heap of X1 carbon units that power up to a blank screen. I've assumed its a bios issue. The bios dump for this model doesn't seem to be common.
The board model is
LMQ-1 MB
12298-2 48.4LY07.021
I have a working dump from a good unit thats the non-touch version it is:
LMQ-1 MB
12298-2 48.4LY05.021
I have tried this on the non-working unit and it didnt work. I cleaned the ME using easycleanME to the same ME version and it didnt work....Leave a comment:

Hi,
New here. Actually been lurking here for years... ever since it was profitable to repair bad caps in Dell 15" LCD monitors (how long ago was that?).
I'm from Australia and currently working in a IT recycling facility giving me a never ending supply of broken items to fix.
