Re: Samsung LN40B530p7 sound ok picture inop
It's a Samsung LN40B540P8F. I'm not sure if it was from the above site, but I was able to find a ZIP of PDF documents, all attached. Unfortunately, they don't show the specific circuit diagram/schematic for the Inverter Board, BN44-00264B.
Tekelectra might have more?...

Re: Samsung LN40B550 turning off after 5 min.
Hi @budm,
Quite simply, I can see that you are the savior of this forum... thanks! Okay for an additional question?
Like the OP of this thread, I have a Samsung Inverter Board BN44-00264B that happens to sit in my Old Samsung LN40B540 TV (trying to squeeze a few extra years out of it before the junk heap).
As I discussed in another recent post (sorry newb here, can't make new post AFAIK), the display is blinking-off for a few seconds at a time, while the audio is still functional....

Hi nomoresonys,
Thanks for the speedy reply!
I think I can indeed follow the video in general, but unfortunately the inverter board model I am dealing with (BN44-00264B) is laid out quite differently than the inverter board used in the video :-\.
Would you happen to know where I could find a circuit diagram for the BN44-0264B board?

Re: Samsung LN40B530p7 sound ok picture inop
Hi there,
I have an identical initial symptom (sound ok picture blinking off/on). The issue goes away when I turn the Backlight all the way to 0/10, but every so often the Backlight setting seems to automatically "reset" to 10/10 :-\.
Thanks to this thread and forum, and a pair of YouTube posts (big thanks to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh01ZepjDp0 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PflyJ4H51Fg), I've heard 3 main possibilities for this type of symptom:

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello there, cool name for a site/forum... "Bad Caps", I like it!
In my case, I don't have "bad caps", but am trying to repair a good ol' Sammy LCD TV (something like 2008/2009 from my native Canada, LN40B540...).
I found some links to the circuit diagrams for the particular Inverter Board in this TV, so I'm happy to set up an account here.
A little background: I'm an Electrical Engineering (with a PhD to boot), but my whole specialization has been advanced numeric...
