    Thanks for the quick response, and the tip on managing attachments. I will be sure to use this in the future.

    I have ordered some caps that seem to have the same "important" specs as the originals. I will soldier them in hopefully by the end of the week or early next. I'll try to put up some pictures of the final product (assuming its fixed) when I'm finished in case anyone else has a similar problem and wants some tips. Thanks.

  • Samsung LCD TV Capacitor Identification

    This is my first post so try to be nice I have a Samsung LCD TV Model LNT4061F. It has some bulging caps on the power supply board. I have been able to ID most of the caps but I am confused on one of them.

    It is a SAMWHA WB series
    25V, 1000uF, 105oC (M) WB
    It also has the letters PET and V2A on it.

    The reason I am so confused is that there is another cap right beside it with the following specs:
    25V, 1000uF, 105oC (M), WB
    It [B]DOES NOT[/B] have PET on it, and has V3A on it.

    The caps are different in physical size, but...
