So I was able to figure things out. So the bios password given by mohamedxp worked. Thanks. After reboot an HP Diagnostic message showed up as I wrote above.

As it turns out the message was really giving a hint of an underlying issue with this laptop that. During sysprep, there was a corrupt installation of Windows, seems it lost power during installation.

The fix was to do a clean install with a USB bootable disk, choosing "custom install", removing all the failed partitions,...

Maybe I spoke too quickly. Now it goes to Windows boot up screen then after 5 seconds to an HP Diagnostic screen that says. "Recovery Incomplete, choose an option: Save Log/Details/Retry".
I did save the log to a USB stick. Subsequent reboots go to the same screen. I shall change the CMOS Battery to a brand new one and see what happens. Do I need a new thread for the new issue?

Hello please help I need a code that works:
System disabled i 73344670 and then gives the recovery code 62022276 but it does not work. Still says invalid password. Motherboard is CSL50/CSL52 LA E811P I am stuck.

HP 15 bs020wm unable to apply master passeord reaet code. 73344670. The given passeord reaet does not work. Please help. Any options?
