  • Re: Panasonic Plasma TX-P50Gt30E with sparkles, brightness problem

I think, photo 5 is accumulation of effects. I never would say it cannot be SS board, but what make you think that? And maybe which part? I checked the board and have not found any defect.
Visual failures are all horizontal. And, this is maybe not clear visible in attached pictures, the pixels are randomly fully bright, not any halftone. Like all sub-fields are addressed., although this should not be the case. Can be seen best in 3r picture, or 4th.

  • Panasonic Plasma TX-P50Gt30E with sparkles, brightness problem

    Hi,

I have build up again a defective SC-board TNPA5335 with all! IGBTs and several drivers and other components, after incomplete 6 blink repair and further issues. Finally I got the board almost to work again, running now at least for some minutes without shorting down.
Anyway, something is still wrong, I guess but not 100% sure that it is on the SC-board.

Latest step before now was sparkling all over the screen, then Q16820 was replaced and situation now is this. Also to say that Q661, IC921 and other parts for Vad have been replaced too, not only Q401-3...

  • Re: Real or fake FGD4536?

    Hi,
received a batch of FGD4536 from Winsource, said as original from Fairchild. I have strong doubts that these are genuine, but have a look on the pictures at let me know your thinking. There is no mark from molding, and Fairchild logo is laser marked with 3 single splines.

Transistortester shows diode and 2x high resistance, IGBT not identified. But I know that also original parts unsoldered from a board are not 100% identified as IGBT with this instrument...

  • Re: Panasonic TX-P65VT20e Mainboard TNPH0844 problem

I was on that page, but feeling myself too stupid for it. I know that I can read only low resolution files online, but also this doesn't work for me (Linux, Firefox).
Further on it looks to me that full service manual for my version is not existing on this site, too. I have manuals for TC-P50VT20 and also P65VT25, both with chassis gpf13du and mainboard (A-board) TNPH0835 which is differenet.

  • Panasonic TX-P65VT20e Mainboard TNPH0844 problem

    Hi,

I have here a defective TX-P65VT20e not running up. Green LED blinking for ~40s, switching relays, and going into blinking phase again.
Very I had rarely working unit, by luck. Not based on a trial.
No red flashing LED for failure code. When disconnecting a board 7 blinks of death.

Most probably root cause is defect in mainboard. I did some failure analysis in testing voltages from power supply and found them OK. Having no service manual for this board, I cannot trace signals or check individual voltages on the board, to find easy failure....

  • Re: Dell 2407 wfpb no backlight

I have just to say a BIG THANK YOU, for all the information collected here that allowed me to identify a F1 fuse being responsible for the issue with my monitor. Unfortunately there is no info available how to replace this mysterious fuse with "20" 1:1, a 2A fuse for 500mA regulator seems a bit to much. And 200mA a bit weak, although tests showed a current of 35mA over resistor used for tests in normal mode.
Anyway, I will give a try to a 200mA Polyswitch in 1206, but I have to wait for the shipment from China.
