Re: Power board vestel 17ips61-3 | Flash Red and Blue
I totally understand your point. We are living in a disposable society. No one have time to wait for a repair.
I'm more a SW guy, but I like to make some repair, like you describe, for me or for my family. 100% of the times are for fun only. Its always good to learn new things and I love the feeling I was able to fix it. Its working!
Once again, thanks for your help!

Re: Power board vestel 17ips61-3 | Flash Red and Blue
Hello vinceroger69
I have some very good news!
Everything is working fine. So, after everything you advised me, I was able to get the image. Today I found the issue was a bad connections on the LCD Flat cable. I opened and closed so many times the TV, maybe it got fault during the process.
I don't have words to express how grateful I'm with your support.
Thanks to vinceroger69 and yokoono support I was able to fix my tv!
A huge thanks for you and all the community...

Re: Power board vestel 17ips61-3 | Flash Red and Blue
Hello!
So, I have some good and some bad news
Good news: While I was checking the voltage on the bkl pin, one capacitor blown. Apparently he was working fine but... I replace it and now I have image
Bad news: The image is a mess, I don't know if its the firmware or a damage screen. But its not possible to use on that way...
Please see the pictures. It have the big triangle on the corner, but all screen is blurry... I'm not exactly sure how to describe.
Thanks...

Re: Power board vestel 17ips61-3 | Flash Red and Blue
Hello all,
unfortunently it still the same after flash. No image or any backlight.
I don't think thats a power supply issue or, now we know, its not a FW issue. Every time I press the buttons of the remote the TV have some "normal" behavior. Looks the issue is related with the image itself.
Any more tips? Now its a challenge to have it fixed!
Thanks for your support.

Re: Power board vestel 17ips61-3 | Flash Red and Blue
Hello @vinceroger69,
the number is: 17MB55
I checked the power supply, specially on the C2 connector and everything looks fine. I got 22v and 11v. Looks fine to me. I start to suspect the problem is relates with the main board.
Do you have any thoughts? Anything I can do?
Thanks.
Best Regards,...

Re: Power board vestel 17ips61-3 | Flash Red and Blue
Oh! Shame on me, I looked several times for that sticker but I couldn't see the number. Soon as I get home I will give a look.
I don't know if this will help, but anyway.
This TV used to take a long time to show image. Around 30minutes, since its placed on a moisture place, I always thought that it could have some humidity inside and it needed to heat first before showing any image.
Recently, it doesn't show any image. As I described, I can turn on (red light) and it starts blinking between red...

Re: Power board vestel 17ips61-3 | Flash Red and Blue
Hi, I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly understanding... I'm more a coding guy and not HW.
anyway, I attached all the pictures I have from the "power board" and the "green board".
I think the number you are referring is this:
23155823 01385
V030f L9 MD
16/11 - 4/12 - 1
The TV is a white brand and doesn't have a brand.
Hope it helps, if not, tell me what you need until I get it!
Anything you need to help me get this tv alive again....

Power board vestel 17ips61-3 | Flash Red and Blue
Hello all,
I have a TV with a vestel 17ips61-3 power supply and when I turn it on it doesn't display any image. However, I can see the power blue LED and after sometime or when I press any button on the remote control, the LED starts flashing from RED to BLUE and remains blinking alternatively for several seconds.
I've measure all CAPS and they look fine. All the values are in the acceptable range of each capacitor.
I'm not really sure how to test the diods, any feedback? Even so, the TV have power, I'm not sure if the issue can be related with them or with the power board....Last edited by GnobarEl; 02-17-2020, 11:08 AM.
