• Re: Samsung 40" LCD tv model LN40B610A5FXZA won't turn on

i too LN40B610A5FXZA, it turns off but, it either flickers and shuts off OR it shuts after a few minutes, the colder it is the better. when on white static screen i see a tinge of red towards the bottom of the screen but, on HDMI hooked to a computer the picture looks good. i was thinking bulbs. going to look at the inverter board.

trying to see with the limited 1 or 2 minutes if this unit eve has decent black levels, if no it's not worth really saving but, if the black levels are ok then its probably BETTER...

the EEUFM0J152 are 10mm they are 2mm bigger than the Teapo 1500uf 6.3Vs. i suppose with some finagling.

EDIT: might suggest hitting up digi key or ebay and looking by uf and voltage rating and checking the size instead of flat out ordering by model/mfg number.

also if you could stick a really thick thermal pad (like those used on the vram on the xbox 360) right in between VRM area and the computer case it would really help. it would cool it off a good amount with those heat sinks alone.

also i volt modded a p4p800 not too long ago that was having stability issues ran prime 95 and not to long and a POP smoked the PSU big time the smell of burning plastic and electronics filled...
