I believe a plasmas has 3 sheets of glass, but I could be wrong. The front glass that you can touch has a IR filter on it, and then you have two sheets of glass that have the gas in-between them that is sealed. I don't believe you can see the back glass.

Good call, but I still don't see anything. If it is a crack it has to be behind both front panels of glass. I even moved the panel in front of 3 big windows we have thinking maybe sunlight would help, but still nothing....Leave a comment:

I did already pull everything off/out, but it can always go back together. Thanks for giving me something else to check out, any help is always appreciated especially before I recycle the panel. My multimeter has a few settings for ohms, I'm not for sure what setting I need it to be on, but I'm going to give this a shot.

No sound what so ever, just a click when I power it on.

I would of never thought about that. The next morning I went to turn it on and it's 100% black now, so I would be unable to perform your test.
Is there a way to test if the panel is indeed getting the correct voltage? Cause if the panel is getting the correct voltage, and it's not lighting up at all just staying black, and with it not blinking any error codes, the would rule out anything but the panel itself correct?
I just don't want to give up on it till I'm just about 100%...Leave a comment:

Thats 6 years of hanging on the dust lol.
I did look at all the boards on the right, none of them have any fuses. only boards I see that do are the two center ones, and all of them are good.
Anyone know where I could find a service manual for it? I found one for the 60" TC-P60ZT60, but not the 65" TC-P65ZT60?...Leave a comment:

Please help, is my Panasonic plasma ZT65 dead?
I'm needing some help. I have had my TV for over 6 years and lot of hours, like so many hours I would be scared to check lol. When I went to turn it on last night, it had a huge black spot on it, it reminds me of a cracked screen. Yesterday I did have a house full of kids so it is possible something/someone hit it. I could tell with the TV on for 30mins or so the spot was growing. This morning around 8hrs later the TV is 100% black, with the TV on or off brightness does not change, it looks as if it has no power.
What I do know
