• Thank you very much for your quick response. The dump worked! The only problem left is taking 15 seconds to display after power button press. There is a message: Warning!! Machine not in a committed state.
How do i solve this? I have tried before to work with various NbDmiFit to modify serial numbers and commit a machine with no success.
What is it that Iam not doing right?
Will appreciate any help on that.Thank you very much for your quick response. The dump worked! The only problem left is taking 15 seconds to display after power button press. There is a message: Warning!!...

• Hello all, I downloaded from this forum BIOS dump and flashed the above laptop which initially wasn't displaying anything. It worked, but after a couple of months it has started a strange problem.
When I press the power button, it comes on but no display, I have to plug in the charger, then pull out, then plug it in again for it to display.
I have included both BIOS and (I guess), EC dump for anyone with a know to look at it. Thanks in advance.

• Hello everyone, I have a Hp probook 650 G2 that is working well, problem is, it switches on the fan when the laptop have been shutdown. This will run till the battery drains. I have tried flashing with BIOS downloaded from here but it doesn't display anything.
When i "borrow" BIOS from a similar motherboard, it doesnt power, or when it powers, no display.
Attached is the original bios dump. Any help is welcome.
PS: I'm trying to find time to read about BIOS ME etc, between my workshop hours, hoping to succeed....

• Hello y'all, it's a great pleasure to have discovered this site. It has rescued me on several occasions. I might be forgiven for taking this long to introduce myself, the group is better and healthier when members chat and share resources.
My area of interest is technology in electronics and electrical. I like troubleshooting to component level, very satisfying whenever a dead circuit board comes back to life. 🤭
I'm self taught in electronics though I have taught many who are undertaking degrees and diploma in electronic-feels good when imparting knowledge.
