Re: HP8460p Product Information Not Valid
i've loaded your latest bios , and under bios information, my DMI info still remains . All seems correct except system config id (A0001D02), but sounds not important.

Re: HP8460p Product Information Not Valid
Strange, I've already updated my dmi info and my last bios update contains them.
Anyway, possible workaround is to update your bios you provided to me with my system configuration ID (A0001C02), and I'll re change my dmi after....

Re: HP8460p Product Information Not Valid
Thanks, it works. I was able to change my DMI info: serials/SKU/CT with nbdmifit . I just can't update my system configuration ID (mine is A0001C02) because of MPM Lock (and can't unlock). But i suppose it is not important....

Re: HP8460p Product Information Not Valid
Thanks imranromi . No DMI errors now.
But it's not my DMI numbers. Is it possible you provide me a bios with my DMI numbers inside ? (tryed to change with nbdmifit.bat but have sku write error)
Thank you...Last edited by tlfrance; 03-21-2020, 12:21 PM.

Re: HP BIOS unlock tool
Thanks for help. I saw 2 different ch341a programmers (black pcb and green pcb) . Difference seems around voltage (5v for black , 3,3 v for green). Which one should I take?...

Re: HP BIOS unlock tool
Hello,
I would like to remove bios pwd on my 840 g3 . It’s wson8 chip and have gold plated contacts near the bios chip (mx25L12873F).
1/ Is ch341a programmer is compatible for dumping / writing the chip?
2/ Is it possible to do that without desoldering the chip and solder wires directly on the contacts near it?
Thanks for help
