Okay, here's a pic of the TCON. And there were no obviously bad caps on the mainboard or power supply. Cleaning and reseating the ribbon cables had no effect.

I really don't know how to describe the problem, so I've attached two pictures showing it. The TV worked fine yesterday, and is screwed up today.

There is NO problem with the audio.

There is NO problem with the menus or reception (over the air DTV stations). Channel searching works just fine.

The problem appears on both digital TV and composite video sources. (I suspect it is on all sources.)

The picture is present and visible, just messed up. It's as if the picture is oversaturated.

I did do a reset through the menus,...

My name is Ray. I live in New Hampshire, the one in the US. I'm new to TV repair, which is why I'm here. What I'm NOT new to is computers, was face-to-face with my first, a PDP-8 in 1967.
