Re: Acer V223W
The monitor is totally Dead. No power LED indicator light, NO NOTHING. No blown fuses, Verified 120VAC input. I checked the 2.5 Amp fuse at F801 and it tested good using a fluke 16. No Backlight flash, If you can tell me how to upload picts. I will? Thanks

Acer V223W
I have a backlight issue with an Acer V223W (4 Lamp) Inverter board. ID is E59670 0843-2 491961400100R I replaced the Nichicon caps on the board with new exact matching caps. Checked fuses at F801 FB702. Installed the board and I get nothing. It is as if I have no voltage at all. I checked the bridge rectifier and it was O.K. I metered continuity from the AC socket thru the board to high voltage output side. All checked out. Anyone ever seen this before? What am I missing? Thanks

Re: HP W2207 No Backlight
I used Nichicon Caps I purchased from overseas. The board is a 4 lamp power inverter with a amplifier circuit built in for the speakers on the monitor.
You can see an exact picture of this board here. http://mylcdboard.com/2010_11/ZD100044.html I am not familiar with uploading pictures to BadCaps Forum and I don't want to violate rules. It said to not load photos inline with posts???? I will be glad to send you pictures if you will give me an email address. I doubt the caps will fail ESR because they are brand new. However, If you suggest...

HP W2207 No Backlight
I pulled the inverter out of an HP W2207 Monitor. Inverter id is: ILPI-029 Rev. A
490891400101R E131175
I suspected bad caps(Suscon) so I replaced them all. Monitor worked for 3 hrs. and went back to the same problem. (No Backlight). I checked all the caps and none had failed. I used a Fluke 16 which I find reliable for testing these caps. Any ideas on what else would fail. I suspect the Schottky Barrier Rectifier could be possible. But Ohming it out it tested O.K.
