I have an early 2015 Macbook Air (A1466) with a 820-00165-A logic board (which I've removed from the machine) and a MXIC MX25L6473EZNI chip.
I need to remove the EFI password but I am struggling to dump the bios.

I have tried both a TL866 Minipro and a CH341A (converted to 3.3v) in conjunction with a J6100 SPI programming cable to read the chip however both fail to even read the chip id?

A bit of Googling suggested supplying 3.3v to PP3V3_SUS but I wanted to confirm this is the correct course of action before doing so (and potentially blowing...
