  • Re: Polkaudio DSW PRO 500 not switching on solved

Grunder-- Thanks for posting this. The low volt supply on my Pro 600 board was so blown apart I could not identify U1 KEH807 until I came across your photos. Polk refused to tell me what this 72 cent device was and suggested I buy a $300 replacement amp. On mine, the diodes D4 and D5 are burnt as well as the larger diode oddly marked C7. On the capacitor replacement, your picture shows you pointing at C17 but your description says C12. Assume it is the former. Also have the leaky C101 on the power amp board, widely reported issue...

  • Re: Need help identifying capacitor

Have exactly the same issue with a Pro 600. 2200uF cap on the amplifier board leaked. I think the L101 and L102 (8019P 100L) inductors are OK though. Also, u1 and surrounding diodes on the power supply board all burned.
Did anyone get a schematic for this unit? If so, could you post or send?

    K
