thank you for your help about the inverter the backlight is working because I can see the backlight (the backlight is always on) when I power the TV is not showing the picture and I can't turn off the TV here is some pictures from the power supply...

Hi I'm working on a polaroid with black screen and not sound I bought the T-con
but still the problem I notice when I turn on the tv then I can't turn off the tv .I read some post about this problem and the problem can be the power supply and the main board but I really a don't know where to start (I don' know what is the part's name I think is the inverter because has connectors for the bulbs (back-light)has something like someone spill liquid on that part thank for your help -

LG 42pc3dv Black screen w/sound (((fixed))
I got a TV with black screen but I can listen the sound I fixed the TV thanks to plainbill the last time I put a thread with a Vizio 42" black screen pdp42x3 and bill help me to detect the problem and I did the same with this TV ((I bought a new Zenith 6871qzh053b board)). The board has two fuses an one was blow .Bill told me A blown fuse confirms it. A common failure of these boards is the hybrid (under the big heat sink). A new hybrid can be had for about $40 if you are skilled at desoldering. For those of us with lesser abilities, replacement boards are available for under $80, including... -

Hi thank you for try to help me the problem with this TV is the black screen. I opened it and I found the Samsung LJ41-04516A Y-Main'' was burned I order the Y-main and still have the same problem when I turn on the TV, the light of the power flash 4 times and I listen like the TV is turning on but nothing display please help me thank you. Thank you bill for answer my question I've chanced it for a radio shack cap 47uf 16v I think that's the problem,sometimes when I unplug the ribbon cable, that goes from the board to the screen that's make it work again but then the problem is back I,m going to chance the other caps with the Panasonic caps. bill if you are interesting for a frame just let me know and give me your address and I'll send you one They are like new. Hi please I need help with a Polaroid frame10.2 MODEL-XSA-10169S when I turn on the frame the light turn off after a second I can see the picture dark and the pictures are changing.I change the cap 47uf 16v on the inverter and it works well for a day I turn on and off many time the frame, and It was working I test it the next day and the same problem was there. thank for your help... -

thank you bill All your information you gave me was correct and I've checked the board and was a fuse blow I put a regular fuse 4a250v but it doesn't works I'm going to order the board again thanks

Hi this is Salomon I need some help with this TV Its a Vizio 42"(the sticker where is located the model was removed but this is the model of the screen inside of the TV pdp42x3####) when I turn on the TV the power light gets green but the screen is black sometime on the center of the screen display a piece of picture, color red dark I put a picture to explain better thank you....
