Took a break from this over the holidays. I'm still having trouble finding replacement caps. I found most of them but for these two, one of which I suspect overheated.
Samxon 150uf 25v approx 8mm high and 8mm across.
For some reason I can't seem to find a similar cap on Digicom. Any suggested alternatives?

Zerox XG-91D Monitor Failure
I'm attempting to repair a Xerox XG-91D monitor that has been malfunctioning. Upon opening the case it was discovered that most caps appeared intact. The tops of three may have swelled slightly and there was a small soot stain on the case above a Samxon 150uf 25v.
Examining the board it appears to have the following
(4) Samxon 1000uf 25v
(2) Samxon 150uf 25v (both slightly swelled and soot above one)
(2) Samxon 470uf 25v (one slightly swelled)
(1) Samxon 220uf 25v
I'm gong to try replacing the caps and seeing if that helps and...

Stumbled onto this forum while looking for information on troubleshooting some flatscreen monitors.
I was with the University of Phoenix for over 9 years as a webmaster but was recently laid off along with 900 other of my coworkers.
Now that I find myself broke with lots of free time I'm developing more DIY skills. I needed a computer monitor and my brother in law gave me two 19" Flat screens that were not working so I could see what I can do with them.
