My member name is zampaz, retired, scientist, engineer, database architect, IT project manager, consultant etc. I started programming in '77, got a BS in physics and did all kinds of things as a dot gov and dot mil contractor.
My enterprise workstation/server build experience is extensive, but my electronics background is weak, and I lack experience with board repair and troubleshooting.
As a hobby, I want to learn about board diagnosis repair, which is why I took on a very challenging project of repairing and subsequently upgrading 2 broken 2017 iMac Pro A1862 workstations...
