Have a Samsung 42" that turns off after a couple of minutes. The lamp starts to flicker before it turns off. Traced the lamp to two 820uf 250v Capxon caps (included the pics). They did not look bad however after reading a post here, decided to replace them. The have a very strong smell at the base so I suspect they started to leak. They are rated for 85° C so am buying Panasonic 105° C. Maybe the bad rap Capxon is getting lays on the manufacturer of the TV that uses the weaker component because it's cheaper. Also they are rated in hours of operation like light bulbs so they are not intended...
