Thank you both! I just wired it up as pictured below, I get about a 1 minute delay which is prefect for me!...

I was trying to build a refrigerator door alarm based off this [URL="http://makercorner.blogspot.com/2017/06/diy-refrigerator-door-alarm.html"]maker post[/URL] I saw using a dollar store window alarm. My problem is my circuit is a little more complex than the one posted by the user. I'm trying to figure out where I should add my 2k resistor and 22uF capacitor in the circuit (see attached images) to create a time delay for the refrigerator alarm.
