  • 820-01869 Diode Mode Question

    Hi,

I am working on an 820-01869-A iPhone SE 2020. J4200, J3900, and TUNFX all display open line (OL) in my multimeter. I got numerical value for J3200, J6400, J5700, J5800, JLAT1, and J3500. Please, what could cause this kind of problem. Thanks,

    MellowMan

  • Help, input voltage creates PP3V42 missing (820-3787-A)!

    Hullo all,

I have an A1398 15" retina (820-3787-A) and was troubleshooting and realized that R7020 was broken. I removed the resistor (which had cracked in half) and I think it took the input pad with it when I took it off. The input voltage for this resistor is supposed to be 20 V, but is only 16.5 V. It is supposed to receive the drain voltage from Q7010, an 8-pin (well 9, if you count the "Powerpak" pad underneath) DFN. Here are the diode mode measurements for the circuit (red cathode on ground, black anode on the component); I just need help interpreting them....

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

Hi, I am working in Washington DC lobbying for a group in Oregon that supports legalization of assisted suicide, and drafting emails to state senators in Eastern states, trying to fix my dead MacBooks in my spare time, since I can access messages on MacOS/OS X. At the moment I'm winging it on a borrowed Windoze machine. Wish me luck and God Bless!
