Re: Emachine T2245 Board or CPU?
When I install the RAM and CPU and get the PSU to "start" I get 1.694 - 1.693 across the row next to the CPU.

Re: Emachine T2245 Board or CPU?
OK, I have the testing procedure for the VRM from your site but how do I locate the following:
a. input of the VRM
b. load supply pin in the VRM
c. output of the VRM
Do you have any pictures on this site?
I also fond this information on these boards from you site if this helps.

Re: Emachine T2245 Board or CPU?
Thanks,
Two of these systems had failed power supplies and one had an intermittent supply.
I tried two brand new units with the same results on the board.
I did see an earlier post that indicated these Bestec units fail sending in excess of 12v down the 5v side and smoke the board.
Is there a way to test and see if this may have occurred?
Thanks again!

Re: Emachine T2245 Board or CPU?
Hello to all,
I am also new to this board and have enjoyed my visits.
I decided to post this here instead of opening a new thread because the board is the same, hope that is OK.
Anyway I have three of these pieces of junk in my shop now, all were built within a six month period according to the dates screened on the board.
The symptoms are different so let me describe them here:
The board will not power up but if the power supply is cycled on and off several times the PS fan will start and the CPU fan will twitch...
