I am actually repairing a Acer monitor power supply 79069140..R. When i opened it , there was a lizard just under the Main Capacitor 100 mf 450 V. I replaced it with same value. When i tested it, the power led turns green for 1 sec, then orange for 1 sec and then off for 1 sec and the cycles continued like that. When i removed the 4 connectors going to the screen from the inverter section, the power led turns green for sometimes and then orange (stand by mode), which means that the monitor power supply is functioning as it should be.
