Plug in the Ethernet and you're good to go. But you mustn't run out of battery somewhere on the go. Then you have to connect again.

So after three days I managed to successfully update the bios to the latest version 01.26.00, but it's still not the same.
Sleep mode does not work.
LAN connection and cable disconnection functional only after restart.
Any change in the BIOS, save and the laptop won't boot again - the fans will spin at full speed and the screen will be black.
It does not show in UEFI mode the time until the battery dies, only when charging.
When turning off, the power button flashes 20 times and then the laptop turns off. Sometimes it turns itself on right away.

Hello,
i have a problem with my zbook 17 g5 laptop. The laptop turns on by itself. When updating to a newer bios, it no longer starts. Black screen and fans on full blast. I think iME is to blame. I have to upload a backup of the 32MB chip I created and everything almost works again. Here is a listing of both BIOSes. The BIOS was password protected. I used RCUnlocker. There is no need to upload a new DUMP to the IC1600, but the main problem is in the eMMC IC8903 on the other side of the mainboard.Leave a comment:
