Re: Kenwood DNX570HD No boot Red Triangle Lit - Characteristic Fault?
I tried the dealer firmware reload but so far I can't initiate the upload. The instruction in the .pdf at Step 4 is ambiguous: it says connect the USB memory device to the USB terminal, not to the I-pod terminal then turn ON. The only USB on the DNX-570HD is the one on the extension cord, the only I-pod connection is by Bluetooth, I believe. (I don't have an I-pod.) I can't turn the unit ON, when I connect 13 VDC to the Main and Backup terminals, the red triangle illuminates, the fan starts and both stop after...

Kenwood DNX570HD No boot Red Triangle Lit - Characteristic Fault?
I'm hoping to find the answer to a no boot, red triangle illuminates fault in a Kenwood DNX570HD. I have two of these double-DIN head units and they both have the same failure mode, which makes me think it may be a characteristic fault, but so far I haven't been able to unearth any intel on this.

Re: LG Z50PT320 (PU14K) Plasma no brightness
Since then I have replaced R2, R16 and R17 on the Z-sus board, they were all open. Made no difference in the symptoms, Z-sus heat sinks remain cold. Also I've yet to find a download of MStar v4.1.8 so I can communicate with the SysCon.

LG Z50PT320 (PU14K) Plasma no brightness
Friends,
I am an audio technician, fixing mostly large amplifiers from QSC, Crown Audio, Samson, etc. who needs to repair a Zenith/LG plasma which we installed.
It has no brightness and apprently no audio, tho' it might if it were on a source with audio supplied. It turns on, the red LED blinks several times, the Y-sus board makes a normal sound. Va=55 VDC, Vs=205, +5 is OK, +3.3 is OK but +15 = 18.3 VDC. Power consumption is low, jumping between 50 and 90 watts. The system control is active, it will switch between various source and if left on it shuts down due to...
