Re: Whirlpool Refrigerator LED lights flickering
since posting early on this thread I gave up on repair and put a 120v replacement led in as I see now a few others have done. It's a friends fridge that I haven't seen so I ignored anything with the freezer side because idk what kind of insulation goes to the freezer. I made a whip for the 120v to connect this $8 lamp from home depot. only problem imo maybe it gets hot,185f, if left on for long periods but it shouldn't be a problem inside the fridge. Bonus it's rated for damp locations

Re: Whirlpool Refrigerator LED lights flickering
Hi,
I'm repairing one of these boards for a friend. My R17 is completely burnt and R15 is illegible. I'm going to search what I have laying around and scratch off some off the conformal coating and solder on new resistors but before I do I'd like to get the values correct. From what I know the markings of SMD vary so this is what I know:
R17 has a 3 digit code of 910 that equals 91ohms

R15 has a 4 digit code of 1370 that equals 137ohms...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi Everyone
Not good at these things but here goes. I'm a construction electrician in the big apple. I like to do board level repairs but also I like to watch Lois Rossman videos of him doing it while ranting about Apple. I got my ESR meter and brand new blue EEVlog meter. Thanks for having me.
