  • Re: 2 Viewsonic VX1940W buzzing and no signal

[FONT="Georgia"][SIZE="4"]That was $11.29 total enough for 3 monitors so cost w/ tax + shipping is really only $3.77 for each monitor. I placed the order around noon and got confirmation it had shipped at 1:30 via U.S. Postal Service First Class Mail as you suggested. I expect to have parts by Friday or Saturday. Not bad, to me it's less hassel than finding shipping boxs, getting what is it a RMA, and shipping 2 monitors back for warranty work. Only question is what Viewsonic would have replaced or...

Something interesting, when I search under Panasonic part number EEU-FM1V221
it returns two capicators one is a 3000hr 1.24amp 41 38 mOhm the other a 4000hr 1.29amp 38 mOhm. Which to chose 4000hr Im guessing?

Thanks, Looks like there is a typo. P12345-ND a 6.3v should be P12354-ND a 10 v. I found the "catalogue" this time which makes it easier to look things up.

The 2 Viewsonic X1940W LCD monitors I bought as a dual monitor set are both not working. They are still underwarranty but I could'nt help myself I had to take one apart. I could use some help getting the right caps ordered.
I tried mouser and digikey but gave up. I'd prefer to just order from badcaps.net but here too I run into a roadblock with exact matches.
I'd like to know what I can safely use to replace the following caps. Also, can anyone tell me how does one remove the epoxy glue inorder to de-solder?
    Pictures are attached.
