Yikes, I thought Capxon caps are the crap of the crappiest, so in my mind buying good panasonics would be leagues better.
Should I just go ahead and recap with the FC's since I've already ordered them and they did ship this morning. Cost me $8 and change but I would rather not have to buy replacement ones again since the monitor is not worth much.
Man I hope the FC will be ok, at least for another 2-3 years since this is just a little side project...

Another need some help buying replacement caps for my viewsonic lcd.
Well I dug out this broken viewsonic monitor that would have the power led blink on and off infinitely. So I opened it up and low and behold, about 6 capacitors are bulging.
Anyways, I need help finding thier replacements.
All are CapXon branded, which I am assuming are "CrapXon"
2x 470uf 25v KF105c C650
1x 470uf 10v KF105c
2x 1000uf 10v KF105c C652
4x 470uf 16v KF105c C702
1x 22uf 50v KF105c C702
1x 100uf 400V (this one according to some of the research I've done probably does not...Last edited by Jwin909; 12-06-2010, 04:12 AM.
