If PQ40 and PQ41 are the real issue like you analysed, any suggestion about how to repair/replace those two things?

I asked help from multiple local technicians but they think it is too risky to replace those them. Personally, I can't stand a laptop without battery ...

I think I have the same problem. Using power adaptor or battery works fine, but battery won't get charged. The battery is recognizable (detected and considered to be "charging") by both BIOS and the operating system, but the battery percentage never increases. I am also suspicious about the PQ40/PQ41.

What happens latter to your motherboard? How did you manage to fix it?
