  • Bose PS28 III Subwoofer Power Block need issue diagnosing help

    Hello, like to begin with that I'm a complete novice but I've managed to follow certain videos online to help me fix this but I am now stuck.

    The subwoofer is the Bose PS28 III.
    Using this youtube video ([url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9GarjV3zzs[/url]) I have managed to diagnose with a multi-meter that the issue may be coming from the power supply board (PN: 286612-002)

    An older thread on this forum ([url]https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=65417[/url]) helped me find the schematics for the issue (although to be frank, I personally, have no idea...

    Hello! I was an electrical engineering student for approximately 8 hours before I switched over to chem engineering haha, needless to say, I am pretty much a complete novice beyond the very very basics, I signed up here because I'm needing help fixing my dad's subwoofer. Saw that someone posted a thread on the same exact power board I've diagnosed has an issue but I'm not sure what it is. Hoping someone has the generosity to share their expertise for my problem. Thanks!
