Hi, I also have this same issue. Love my Kuro PDP-LX5090, but it now has the dreaded 8 blue blinking lights. I'm not sure what I would go for next (is OLED better than a Plasma?) so in the meantime, I would prefer to carry on using my beloved Kuro.
I've done a bit of reading on this site, and it seems the IC regulator on the AV board should resolve the issue, but I'm not that confident a solderer to carry this out.
I was hoping that someone on this forum has the right skills and would be willing to travel to Leicester to fix the...

Hi, I recently came across this forum when trying to search for a fix for my TV. The info on here is really useful and the members are very knowledgeable. Although I've seen the fix on here, I'm not that confident to do the soldering myself, so was hoping a skilled member would be able to do this (happy to pay for the service of course). The TV is a Pioneer Kuro PDP-LX5090 and has the 8 blue blinking lights. I am based in Leicester, so was looking for someone nearby, or willing to travel. Obviously don't want to pay too much...
