LG 47LW6500 powers on but no display
My LG 47LW6500 went dark all of a sudden.
Tried power cycling it and the standby light comes on.
When I try to turn it on, the lights blink in the usual start up sequence but there is no backlight.
Took it apart and immediately noticed the C603 capacitor had burnt out. I am hoping replacing the cap will fix the issue.
Complete novice at this, so I was hoping for some advice.

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello!
Been building and troubleshooting desktops since I was 15. But mainly part-for-part replacements. My only soldering attempt was replacing connectors on a gfx card, which fortunately was a success despite diving straight into it without much knowledge. Have a passion for repairing things because less waste = better world.
Found this forum while researching on fixes for my dead LG 47LW6500. Looking forward to getting it fixed with the community's help!
