It's working, but it doesn't have the original serial number. The serial number shows up as SSN1234567890123456
Also, I wasn't able to disable secure boot in BIOS...

I followed the tutorial below, but I'm stuck because I can't find the serial number anywhere in the file. I only see where the BIOS version is listed. According to the tutorial, the serial number should be close by. Is the serial number in the dump file encrypted or did I just get a bad readout?...

ASUS TP202NA Bricked after BIOS Update
I've read the tutorial here on using the HEX editor to find the region where the DMI data starts, but I couldn't find the serial number anywhere in the BIOS dump. I also tried opening the dump file with FD44Editor, and I got an error message stating "Error parsing BIOS data. FD44 module not found." I'm wondering if I did something wrong or if this file just isn't supported by any of these methods. I was able to get the laptop working with a modified BIOS file from the ASUS website, but I'm unable to do anything with the corrupt dump file.
Model number: TP202NA-OS21T

Re: VN7-791G-77GZ bios dump
Which programmer did you use for this? My EZP2010 programmer doesn't detect this chip (25B64BSIG). I tried to program it while it was still on board. I'm wondering if my programmer is not compatible or if it's because I tried programming the chip while it was still soldered to the board.
