I have a PS60F5500 TV and suddenly it's no longer working. The TV does respond to the IR and I can blindly select the correct HDMI source and when done I hear TV sound. The display stays black.

So I opened up the TV and measured the VS and VA on the power supply. Both were way of the normal value. VS was only 10V and VA was 0V.

So I measured the VS-ON signal and noticed that one stays at 0V too. So the main board seems to be broken, right?

Someone told me I could try disconnecting VS-ON from the main board and then connect VS-ON to a 5V power source...

I have a plasma tv but the screen stays black even while powered on.
