Re: Lnt5271fx/xaa
It seemed to work initially. I am thinking that whatever caused the first board to be bad caused the second to fail also.

Lnt5271fx/xaa
I got a Samsung LNT5271FX/XAA from a friend. When i got it it was dead no power, on stand by light. I looked over the boards and in my newbie thinking figured that the power supply failed and took out the main board. I ordered and replaced the power supply and main board and it worked when i turned it on. I turned it off and when i tried to turn it on again it would not do anything. Now it is like before no standby light. It does have 5V going to the main so i don't think its the power supply but what else would cause the main to go again?
Thanks for any help!

Sansui HDLCD4212B Won't turn on
Does anyone have any ideas on a Sansui HDLCD4212B that won't turn on? I get the red standby light on the front of the tv when plugged in but it doesn't do anything else. I opened it up and did not see anything obvious like bad caps or burn marks. Are there any common failures with these? I am not real familiar with Sansui.
Any ideas what i should be looking for? Its hard to get readings because the boards are mounted to the back panel.
Thanks, for any ideas.

Emerson LC320EM81 Dim Backlight
Morning,
I got a 32" LCD Emerson that powers up and works fine but the sceen is dim. I can go into the menu and turn the brightness all the way up but still is dim. I seem to have power going to the backlight circuit to turn it on and the backlight dim circuit has about 3.2volts on it.
Any ideas or things to check would be most appreciated.
Thanks...

Re: Sanyo DP50719 Plasma Turns On & Off w/Clicks
I have the same problem with the same set. Turns on for 10-15 seconds then off for 2- 3 seconds and repete. Does anyone know what goes wrong on the main board? I see people offering to repair the boards, is the a common component that goes bad that i could do the repair myself?

Re: replacementvparts.com
Do not use this company! They are not good! Tried to order a board through them and never got it, had to go through credit card company to get my money back. All you will get from them is the run around. Report them to the BBB so others can be warned!

Re: Sanyo DP42849
It is nice if you can fix it at board level but sometimes it just isn't worth the trouble. I think i ordered it through Tri State Module. I have had good luck with them and thier prices are fair.

Re: Sanyo DP42849
I found other problems on mine and ended up just changing the power supply board. TV works good now.

Re: Toshiba 40RV525U Blows Fuse
When i tried it they were not connected and it did power up. The one that broke fell apart with just a light pull so i don't know if it was damaged which lead to it breaking so easy? Thanks for the help!

Re: Toshiba 40RV525U Blows Fuse
Can someone please help me identify vs101 and vs102 so i can get a new one. I don't know if it pays to try anything until i get this replaced. Right now i do not blow a fuse when i plug it in with these two out of circuit....
