I received an A1466 820-3437-b machine for liquid damage repair. A prior repair attempt was made and they tampered with the SPI_ROM (no idea why).
I managed to get the machine to power on after doing some board level repairs
but the machine would not boot to the login screen (catalina), the loading bar will reach 100% and the machine just freezes there. on High Sierra it would boot to the...
