I'm working on a Samsung 50" Plasma and having some issues...

Firstly = X SUS board - Most of the transistors are shorted. Repair parts are on the way.

The main issue that I am having is with the VS_ON.

My logic board doesn't seem to like my current Y Sus board. I have isolated everything and jumped PS_ON to gnd and VS_ON to 5.3v...power supply produces proper voltages at all points...So I know the power supply is good. I connect the main and logic board to the power supply and voltages remain. Connect Y SUS power connector...

I'm an engineer by trade (BS in manufacturing/AAS in mechanical) but I tinker with everything. I'm most experienced in cars, motorcycles, atvs, small engines, etc. but I'm making a segue into component level electrical repair. Looking forward to some dialogue on this forum.
