OK, my turn now... ordered a 5-bag of 47uF 64V Panasonics (stated 10,000 hours lifespan... let's see). Sadly my eyes even with glasses gave me a headache (I left college in 1986 - I wasn't too bad then, but things got smaller and tighter since then!) so I'll be popping out to a local mobile phone repair guy to do my soldering....

Hi guys. I'm jumping in mostly after having ordered a couple of capacitors with a week to wait before they arrive in the hope I can revive my PSW110 subwoofer... Very disappointed after spending money on speaker (my previous purchase lasted 17 years and works extremely well even compared to a pair of Monitor Audio's I bought 2 years ago) and having it fizzle out within 4 years...

I'm a little outdated, after studying Marine radio and radar and passing out in 1986 I didn't have much need to do much - now living...
