I took caps CM809 and CM811 off the board but trying to test them with my my DMM without the capacitor mode is difficult. Sometimes no readings or all over the place.Leave a comment:

Sorry obviously I meant the main to the power board. It would be impossible for the backlight to flash with the inverter board disconnected.Leave a comment:

Main board disconnected from power board: I get no sound and LED strips light up for half a second. I did the flashlight test and I see no text or image. The low and high voltage pins going to the inventer board 0v.Leave a comment:

Is it normal I get 2 different readings for 2 identical caps? I'm measuring on the back of the board. I set my DVM to ohm 2k and get these readings.
CM811 543ohm
CM809 880ohm

Hello I'm by no means savvy but I can spot boldged caps and do basic soldering. I've fixed e few TVs but this one has me stomped. Visually everything look good. The TV has the same symptoms as the following post.

Audio but no picture, if I disconnect the inverter board the LCDs come on for half a second.
BLU_ON 5.05v
PS_ON 4.87v
CP802 158v should be 380-390v? 515 ohm
CP803 158v should be 380-390v? 515 ohm
DP810 445 ohm
Inverters 841 ohm
CP801 481 ohm

Does this pic help? I'm actually troubleshooting this inverter board myself, I only get high voltage to 1 of the 3 LED strips with the LEDs connected. I tried mesuring voltage without the LEDs connected but I don't get voltage described like on YouTube. Sorry I'm a neuf. Working on Samsung UN40EH5000F. Can you help me?...Leave a comment:
