Hey SMDFlea,
just to keep you in the loop and perhaps useful for other forum members.
After flashing my laptop with your BIOS file, Windows did not recognize my system and I would have to get a new windows key.
But as my laptop was fully functional again I had access to an old BIOS dump of my own laptop.
Flashed my laptop again, now at home with the Chinese CH341A, and Windows was back to normal.
Unfortunately the laptop was shutting down every 30 or so minutes.
It turned out that the ME region...

Hi SMDFlea,
Finally found the time to go to my buddy, who carefully removed the Winbond chip and flashed it. Done within 20 minutes.
Sony started up without any issues!
Very happy. Now all that is needed is a new SSD HDD.
A very big thank you from a rainy Netherlands!

Thanks for that.
I am waiting for my new programmer to arrive and then I'll give it a try. Due to work I expect to be able to try it second week of March.

Hi guys I would appreciate it if someone could help me with a bios dump of their Sony Vaio SVP132A1CM.
I bricked my laptop after loading a wrong version of the bios.
