• LG 32LA613B Dark Area

I got this from a friend, it had power supply failure (shorted ceramic capacitor and blown fuse), i replaced those components and powered the TV.
Now i noticed a slight dark area in the middle bottom, it is barely noticeable when watching something.

I have no idea what is this. Is this a backlight issue? I have disconnect the backlight and tried to see the screen with flashlight, which lead me to believe the problem is in the LED strip, cause i can`t see any dark....

• Re: Samsung UN40B6000VM - Black Screen, Rebooting

Thank you, i already suspected, but needed to make sure as those boards are expensive in here.
I know the chances of getting this board fixed are very low, but i'm giving a try, starting at looking every buck converter output and regulators.
Any tips are welcome.

• Samsung UN40B6000VM - Black Screen, Rebooting

I am just trying to find which board is the corrupted:
TV Model: UN40B6000VM
PSU: PSLF171B01A
Main board: BN41-01184B

The problem: TV is able to power on, plays the melody, but the screen stays black and no backlight, 10 seconds later i hear the relay clicking, she reboots and try to start over and over again. If i disconnect main board backlight works.

The power supply looks nice and measures steady in all voltages the only pins i am not sure are:
DET 5V--------4.9v
E-PWM--------0.5v
BL ON---------0...

• Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

Hi, I'm a eletronic collector and repair technician from Brazil.
Honestly i'm here because i need help from the pros, but i will try my best to provide this place with useful information to repair nasty stuff. I am going deep into design flaws, trying to address the cause, i really hate when my TV doesn't work.
