You can do that fairly easily with an spi flasher and some mad soldering skillz

I just came upon this issue with a board with a bad chip but I can't see paying for "VIP" when I have another board and I can just dump the flash and bios and clone it.

Of course I could always just buy another board and do a hex diff and wind up with the mloc to patch the serial myself as well as the certs....

Hi I'm new here, I have a T420 and I'm also getting a T420s to put coreboot on and debug (Probably going to use the T420 really.) I also have an R710 server and I came here looking for board schematics for the PSU and the mobo for the R710 I and II because I have the v1 board and I'm looking at getting a broken v2 board to try to repair to support my CPUs and possibly use one or the other for coreboot development although I hear it would take years /:
