Re: Flickering on Samsung UN55KS800DFXZA
I definitely always feel the TV radiating a lot of heat, so you're probably right. But my understanding is that specifically connected to the screen, right? I don't think that's something that I can replace, is it?...

Re: Flickering on Samsung UN55KS800DFXZA
Turned down the back-light to 5 as I mentioned earlier and the TV has stayed without a problem since I turned it on this morning and made those changes.
Thank you for the suggestion, however I'm still concerned with what the major issue might be??...

Re: Flickering on Samsung UN55KS800DFXZA
Here are video examples of the issue. To recap, thia issue happens anywhere between 10-15 minutes after the TV has been on and continues until it's been off for about 30 minutes and then it happens all over.

Re: Flickering on Samsung UN55KS800DFXZA
I purchased a whole new board that I've never cut any jumpers on, it's a duplicate of the board that was inside the TV so it's the correct board. I have that board in the TV now and still get the same issue.
I've attached four pictures, both before and after the issue occurs (which is continuously as the TV is on, it's non stop).
The TV has the OneConnect and one set of pics is with the OneConnect unplugged so it's not that external component....

Flickering on Samsung UN55KS800DFXZA
Hello,
I'm hoping someone can assist me as I'm literally pulling my hair out over this!!
I have a Samsung UN55KS800DFXZA, this TV has these internal parts:
Samsung BN59-01239A Wi-Fi Module
Samsung BN44-00878A Power Supply / LED Board
Samsung BN94-10960Y Main Board for UN55KS800DFXZA
The TV picture started flickering/rolling about 2 months ago after being on for more than 15-20 minutes. Since the TV is 2 years old, it's out of Samsung warranty and no longer covered by the place we bought it (Best Buy) so I started looking...

Re: Samsung BN44-00878A Power Supply Removal
Hello and thank you, thank you to everyone in fact. I was able to remove the power plug screws and then gently lift the "lock" areas up, which allowed me to slide the entire board to the left and remove it.
After replacing the whole board, I am STILL having the issue with the flickering. I don't know what else to do, perhaps replacing the main board? I will open a different post, as this is now a totally different issue.
The TV i 2 years old, just old enough to be out of warranty...

Samsung BN44-00878A Power Supply Removal
Hello All,
Thanks for assisting, I made sure to check the forums first before posting and was unable to find any answers. Hopefully I didn't miss something.
I have a Samsung UN55KS8000FXZA that has the Samsung BN44-00878A Power Supply board. I have looked everywhere and have been unable to find any idea on how to remove the board from the frame.
The board itself has no screws in it, only small "lock" holes with white arrows on then (in the picture there is nothing in the holes) and what look to be aluminium tabs, but when I was trying to...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello All,
I'm from the sunshine state, California and my name is Ray. I am joining because I recently had an issue with my Samsung TV and I don't want to pay for a new TV (or a repairman) when I Can fix it myself.
I'm also a Field Service Engineer and have the tools (though I work on medical equipment, not TV's).
Thanks for helping me out!
