I mostly understood the guide, but i guess my lack of electronics knowledge was a little limiting. I tested the fuse on the board successfully, appears to be fine, but can all the other components be tested in circuit? Is there any way to test the caps with just a multimeter, or does that require the ESR tester? Is my best bet just to start by replacing all the caps, regardless of appearance? Could i fit any more question marks into this post?

Hello all, I've read a lot of the forums regarding 2 seconds to black (including billy66's excellent guide), and I've tried as much of the troubleshooting as my extreme noobness will allow. I have a Hannspree HF237HPB. All was well until a few weeks ago, when it starting turning off within a few seconds of being turned on, while the power light in the corner stayed blue. It didn't do it all of the time, if the monitor has been turned off for a few minutes, it would start up fine, and stay on. If I turned on the computer and the monitor went 2 secs to black, i would just turn the monitor off and...
