OK, not much testing done as the moment I turned in on I noticed that theres some color/pixel issues.
Like if pixels were 20 times larger with 8bit colors resulting in banding...
Yesterday I did not notice, as I was just looking for the moving square telling me no signal.

Ok, update after 1 hour of dicking with those little shits with bend legs.
All caps on the logic board are replaced
3x 22uF
2x 100uF
old ones had really high resistance, one was 22 ohm another 12 ohm
I assume this is high considering new ones are like 0.X or 0.0X ohms
Now, after I switched it on the first time it was still fucked.
After switching it up second time normal image appeared,
it is the very same behavior like with the first cap change...Leave a comment:

Ok, its back with vengance, I got 680uF and put them in but still random lines
any tips what to check next after caps change on the power board if this is how it looks?

Ok, here is how the test went.
I put the transformer back, and hooked it up except the 4 leads comming from the side.
I connected the fist one and turn on the monitor.
Observe.
turned it off.
Disconnected it and connected second, and so on.
So...
When I connected 1. the picture came on like before, but the area around circled transformer was making weird sound.

Hi, this is like 3rd monitor I am trying to repair. So quite noobish.
Monitor has 2 seconds to black.
I changed all caps except the big one. That was few months ago.
Now I got to it again, removed transformer and measured the resistance on the the side that has 4 connections, [URL="https://i.imgur.com/ORpXob3.jpg"]between the red and blue pairs[/URL] and got jumpy usually settling at 0 so being shorted
So next logical thing is order new one from aliexpress or somewhere, but I just cant google it out. The labeling given on the trafo itself brings...Last edited by DeerDance; 05-21-2019, 02:35 PM. -

I replaced three remaining caps on the powersupply board, two were 680uF and I did not have those, so I used 1000uF instead to just check and see what it does. Then moving to the other board...
The monitor started with very bronken changing colorful lines.
Wanted to take photo for the forum to update, but afterwards when I power it up, it started absolutely normal - fixed.
